If you make something out of painted aluminium, you probably start from coil. FEITENG runs four coating lines with a combined output of 200 tonnes of coated coil a day, in 1xxx, 3xxx and 5xxx alloys.
Coating build-up
Every metre of coil leaves the line with the same layer structure. Controlling it in-house is what keeps colour consistent between batches — the single most common complaint about bought-in coil.
